Watching the world fall apart all around me/
Now everyday I wake up thank the Lord that He found me/
Now every chance I get man I'm praying for my dawgs/

They gave my homie 25 to life life in the pen/
He's 17 years old never coming back again/
Now looking through a glass is the only way I see him/

I see the baby in the crack house/
Mommy in the back room/
Sister doing *** everyday in the bathroom/
Wonder why they pull me wild n out int he classroom/
They don't know the story and the drama that's attached to me/
I starred in every ghetto story/
But who's daddy he have to ask Maury/
But Maury told him daddy never coming back again/
Cuz daddy doing life for a crime in the pen/
Man we born in the ghetto/
we raised in the ghetto/
They call us rock stars cuz we wave heavy metal/
That bullet hit us hard send us straight to the devil/
Here come the paul-bearers grave digger get the shovel/

But that's hard to see when we ain't even got eyes/

My granny told me never question God, but why so hard living where we live, and being who we are/

Got me on my knees praying to the Lord for peace/
Bloody bodies being found dead in the streets/
We see a baby crying looking for its mom/
Searching through the rubble of a suicide bomb/
A lady crying holding onto a bloody arm/
The country getting torn apart by a civil war/
Lord they looking for that ribbon in the sky/
