It's been weeks since I've seen you

In random motels
Illicit dealings
With nothing to sell
We'd talk alot
Often 'till dawn
With interest in all said
And all the new songs
Then we'd go there
It was often great
To that place beyond
A whole other state
Then fall asleep
Carefully knowing
It was untrue
