This Was My Special Day (1992 - Remaster) - Cliff Richard
Your eyes seem bluer today madam
And you look a lot happyer I'd say madam
Could it be a certain boy
Has filled your heart with joy
Or would you prefer not to say madam
I woke up early this morning
As the sun came over the hill
Just a breeze in the air
Not a cloud anywhere
And I knew
This was my special day
The birds sang sweeter this morning
Than I've never heard them before
As the song through the air
Would have seem to declare
That they knew
This was my special day
For me the birds are singing
For me the bells are ringing
For me the sun is high in the sky
And I know why
The bells rang louder this morning
As if they had something to say
Though it's sounds so absurd
Could it be that they heard
And they knew
This was my special day
This was my special day
This was my special day
For me the bells are ringing
For me the birds are singing
For me the sun is high in the sky
And I know why
The bells rang louder this morning
As if they had something to say
Though it's sounds so absurd
Could it be that they heard
And they knew
This was my special day
This was my special day
This was my special day
