on and on and over the way this came from
your talking to your friends behind your hands
never thought the finder would be the one to lose
never thought the finder couldn't choose
walked beside me in the evening and into dawn
and left me to daybreak, over and gone
cast me out just to see how the current played
you never called me back to your side
never called me back to the sunshine
saying darkness should always be my home
oh but it's not light or dark it's only borders
deciding right from wrong
