Spider was a funny old fellow,

Well long last Sunday down at the May soiree
Hurricane Lucy hit Spider and the bodies flew every which way

Well the Spider and Lucy they started datin' in June
They danced every night together from then until the August moon
Shined a light so bright they began to swoon
Then the Spider asked Lucy "girl won't you be my bride?
I got a hundred dollar bill and a slightly used Cadillac ride
