Shackles - Gerald Waker

Shackles - Gerald Waker
They sayin' wake up wake up wake up wake up Mr walker
It's niggas out here hatin' and these b**ches steady talkin'
Don't wanna see me in the sky but rather view me in the coffin
Cause they know this ni**a's ill as if I'm sneezin' and I'm coughin'
But we give 'em reminders
We wouldn't think twice when you critics define us
We got the lead in this race so you can get behind us
They just trynna find us
I'm with a girl who got a a** boy the size of e honda
That's big you'ont know who that is
Street fighter with my writin' go and grab your glasses
Or your magnifyin' glasses see this sh*t I'm tryna to kick
I got love for everybody but with a 10 foot stick
Oh a pole here I go jay-z said bubble on the low
This is my coming of age and in a second I'mma blow
To be the biggest in my city since that ni**a AL jarreau
I got these shackles all around with no f**king place to go
Somebody
Take 'em off
I got these cuffs on my brain
I'm just tryna maintain
I just wish someone would come and help me take 'em off
Uh huh uh huh
Cause I swear I'm tryna break 'em off
Now will somebody help me take 'em off
All these cuffs and these chains
Cause I'm ready for a change
I've been tryin' but I swear it's hard to shake 'em off
Uh huh uh huh
Now will somebody help me break 'em off
Sayin' wake up wake up wake up wake up Mr walker
Old friends start to hate extended family steady talkin'
How he hooked up with a bunch of college kids out there in Austin
How cardo and sledgren got these women tryna stalk him
Oh no swear I'm only focused on my promo
The way I turn b**ches down you would think that I was homo
Far from it
I just know it's money to be made
My mom 'bout to retire and I'm trynna have her paid
That's the reason why I'm focused and I'm workin' like a slave
I keep my trust in god when sh*t gets hard
I know you probably feel it too that's why you stayin' on your guard
But when life throws you a curve ball knock it out the park
I'm just trynna spit the real tell you how I feel
And before I die not leave a thing unsaid
Cause honestly rap needs another ni**a stuntin'
The way I need a hole in my head
I'm Gerald walker
I'm Gerald walker
I got these cuffs on my brain
I'm just tryna maintain
I just wish someone would come and help me take 'em off
Uh huh uh huh
Cause I swear I'm tryna break 'em off
Now will somebody help me take 'em off
All these cuffs and these chains
Cause I'm ready for a change
I've been tryin' but I swear it's hard to shake 'em off
Uh huh uh huh
Now will somebody help me break 'em off
Somebody take 'em off
I got these cuffs on my brain
I'm just tryna maintain
I just wish someone would come and help me take 'em off
Uh huh uh huh
Cause I swear I'm tryna break 'em off
Now will somebody help me take 'em off
All these cuffs and these chains
Cause I'm ready for a change
I've been tryin' but I swear it's hard to shake 'em off
Uh huh uh huh
Now will somebody help me break 'em off
Break 'em off break 'em off break 'em off
