It's so warm here in town and heat gets me down

With so many rooms I I couldn't count them all

Then they would beg and beg to take me to the ball

The time I went to Paris in the fall
And who would far think the man that I loved
Would be quite so handsome quite so tall
Well that's through just a memory that I had
One I almost forgot because the weather's so hot
