I'm sitting way up high
On this mountain taking in the view
You're out there wearing a smile
On your mountain too
Now the wind is blowing stronger
And we know we have a bit more to climb
But the view right now is opening opening up
Opening our eyes
We know
There are oh so many more
Many steps until the top
And so we both surrender
To a picture from higher up
Our vision's growing wider
Out over the trees of the world we knew
And the trails we followed for miles
Only echoes in the altitude
And as the veils that hid are essence
Are blown away like specks of fire and gold
We're getting closer going higher becoming smaller
So much smaller
Like the stars along the road
We know
There are oh so many more
Many steps until the top
And so we both surrender
