Addie's curled up by your side
Chihuahua dreams of endless rawhide
You love your bed and so do I
I'll tuck you in and soon I'll lie

So off you go
It's charming how you love it so
My second wind is blowing through
I'm staying up
But I'll climb down the
Stairs to you in a little while
Did you know that when you sleep
You smile and when I come to bed
I'll turn the lamp off by your head
You left it on so I could see
That's something nice you do for me
I like those eye shades that you wear
I like it where your skin is bare
I even like that little snore
Did you brush your teeth
Well
I don't care
It's time for bed
The midnight hour
The day is done

Addie sleeps
The daylight hides
And soon I'll curl up by your side
