The Doll House - Heathendom

Floating down the stream of conceit
My dark sides, awaken, they bleed
I try to still my sinister fears
In this hideous doll house
I use to dwell
The curtains have fallen
Like a funeral shroud
No turning back now, I have to go see
What lies beyond, what lies beyond
Visions pass through me
Spirits, dollsget out!
As I entered the room of darkness
They said to me”
“Close your eyes,
There’s nothing to be seen
You’ll play blind”
As I entered the room of silence
They said to me”
“Cover your ears,
There’s nothing to be heard
You’ll play deaf”
As I entered the room of demise
They said to me”
“Come and lay down with the others
You’ll play dead”
And we speak the silent way
Seldom words of wisdom
And we speak the tongues of god
Follow us as so did they
And we see the neon lights
Speechless figures with blindfold on
As they feed us deep inside
With the “purest”lies of black
And I shall not fall
And I shall not hear
Your putrid words anymore
Only the whispers
Of my god forsaken soul
I’m running back
In each and every room
With open eyes and ears
(I’m into tears)
The walls are closing all around
The walls of my insanity!
And we see the neon lights
Speechless figures with blindfold on
As they feed us deep inside
